I am a lucky guy. It’s never “work” when you love what you do.  I got into photography at age 18 while a soldier in Vietnam. I have been photographing people, of all genders, ages, shapes, sizes, and ethnicities ever since. It has been my one and only “job” since 1978.

I worked as a Staff Photographer for the US edition of Penthouse magazine during its biggest years from 1978 to 1988 while concurrently on the staff of the German edition of Penthouse 1981-1985 and on the staff of German Playboy magazine from 1985 – 1987.  From 1978 – 2000 I had hundreds of centerfold style photo layouts published in men’s magazines around the world. Photographing women in sensual situations became what I was most known for.

In 1987 I married Christine, my makeup artist, who had been working with me since 1985. We have worked as a team ever since. Christine has her own makeup artist – hairstylist website HERE. She has always been one of my best assets.

Since the early 2000s Christine and I worked under the name of Las Vegas Studios Inc. and Fotolook International and have done 100s of shoots for the general public doing everything from personal centerfold style layouts, boudoir, modeling portfolios and actor headshots to commercial photography for advertising.

I shoot on location, indoors and outside as well as in the studio.

I work with every kind of light; natural, strobe, led, quartz and tungsten. I have a full complement of studio lighting equipment and most every type of light modifier I could possibly ever need.

I shoot with Canon, using mainly the 70-200 2.8 and 24-70 2.8 as my main lenses. I do most of my own retouching and try to keep it subtle and natural so the retouching is not what the people see first.

As long as I am able and can continue to produce good work I will never retire.
